ChinaVest was the first independent American venture capital firm to be established in Greater China and is among the oldest venture firms operating in the region. Founded in 1983, our singular mission is to provide long term investment capital and management expertise to growing companies doing business in or with the economies of Greater China -China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Greater China is one of the most dynamic economic regions in the world. Over the last twenty years, the three economies have delivered astounding growth. Individually, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan have emerged as economic, financial and technological leaders in the Asia-Pacific region.
